  4. We use sign so we can talk with our kids during quit times like church. It also is nice to have the non verbal ones signing for things instead of screaming.

    1. YES, church! Today, I used signs with my 4 year old at the library. We played a game where I would sign a word at her and she'd have to spot the book with that word in the title. (mouse, sleepy, frog) We both had a ton of fun!

  5. I started using signs as a way to communicate with my infant. Over time, it became more and more convenient, not only because I was able to tell what she wanted, but also because I was able to talk to her in any environment. It has eliminated most all crying and frustration in our household. Her older brother and sister are learning along side as well as a way to communicate with both her and us in the same way. --Vanessa Fugate
